Can/How do I use my gift card online?

Yes! You may absolutely use your gift card to make a purchase online. All you have to do is scroll down to “Add a Gift Card” when you’re ready to pay and enter in the 7 digit number in the back of your gift card. Easy peasy.

How do I use a promo code?

Under “Discounts & Promos” you may enter in your promo code. Keep in mind, it is cap sensitive, you’ve been warned.

What payment methods does CAVEAT accept?

We accept: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and CAVEAT Gift Cards.

If I place an order, when will I be charged?

The estimated time your credit/debit card will be charged varies depending on your bank. Usually, you’ll see a pending charge from CAVEAT in your account statement and the funds will be deducted within 1-2 days.

How do I check my order status?

If you have created an account you can sign in scroll down to “Order Status” click the link and voila. If you haven’t created an account with us; first and foremost; why not?! Secondly, all you have to do is click “Menu” → “Order & Payments” enter in order number and zip code and you’re good to go.

Why can’t I order custom garments online?

Custom garments are only available in store due to the meticulous process it goes through. You wouldn’t want an ill-fitting garment, right? Right. In order to eliminate this complication we must limit custom apparel to in stores only.

What is the timeframe of delivery?

Standard Delivery: 5 to 7 business days.

2-Day Delivery: 2 business days (allow an extra day for some rural locations)

Next Day Delivery – Overnight orders placed by 1 PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday will ship out the same business day. Orders placed after that time will be shipped on the next business day, pending credit card authorization and verification. Please note, at this time Saturday delivery is not available.

Can I track my shipping?

When your order has shipped, we will send you an email confirmation that includes your tracking number so you can stalk your goods.

We do not deliver to vagabonds with P.O. Boxes, sorry.

If items in my order are shipped separately, will I be charged extra?

Rarely will this happen, most items are all shipped collectively. But if so, we’ll let you know before you place your order.

I received a faulty item, what do I do?

I’m getting an error when I’m trying to place my order, help?

Sorry about that! Email us at with your order number and description of the damaged item. After you’ve received the okay from us (will take less than 24 hours) just send it back to us and we’ll ship you a brand new garment.

Do you have a gift wrap option?

Why, of course! Simply click the ‘giftwrap’ option before checkout.

I have already placed my order. Can I make changes to it?

Yes! Within a reasonable time that is. Don’t wait until the day before your package is being delivered. Just contact us and we’ll be happy to make the changes for you.

Return & Exchanges

What is the return policy?

With original invoice, you are free to return for any reason within 90 days of purchase and we’ll fully refund your payment (less shipping charges) via the payment method used at time of purchase.

Returned items must be unworn, unaltered, unwashed and have all original tags attached. If you would like to return a garment after 90 days of purchase, you will be eligible for store credit or an exchange only.

All marked down items are a final sale and are not eligible for an exchange, refund or credit.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

How do I return/exchange an item?

  • Email to request your return authorization number and let us know which item(s) you will be sending back for exchange or return.
  • Place the item(s) in the original shipping box. Seal the box inside the provided bag and place the return-shipping label on the outside of the package.
  • Take the package to your nearest FedEx drop-off location or schedule a pickup. You can arrange a pickup by calling 1 800 463 3339 (1 800 Go FedEx).
  • Once we have received your package, your refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

How long do return and exchanges take?

Nada, zilch, zero. Enclosed in every package is a free return shipping label (just in case your friend purchased something you mentioned you had to have).

I am unsure about what size I should get or I have a fit question. How do I find this information?

Under description of each garment you’ll find more or less fit guides that should help you find the right size. But if you’re ever unsure about sizing you can contact us, chat one on one with one of our caretakers through our chat option in our website.

How do I measure myself?

  • Bust: For bust size measure around your chest at the fullest point of your bra cup. Make sure to go under your arms, not around them!
  • Natural Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waistline with one finger between your body and the measuring tape.
  • Hips: Stand with your heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  • Inseam: Find a pair of pants that fit you well and measure from the crotch seam to the opening at the bottom of the pant leg. Round the number to the nearest 1/2″ to get your inseam length.

Account and Email System

Why am I having problems logging into my account?

“Invalid email address/password combination” If you’re receiving this error, remember, your password is case sensitive, so capitalized vs. lowercase letters matter! Also, make sure you’re not inadvertently adding a blank space before or after your password.

“You’ve already signed up for an account with this email address” If you’re receiving this error, it means you’re using the account creation page rather than the login page. Make sure you’re logging in on the proper login page.

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?

For password retrieval just click “forgot my password” on the logging page, a temporary password will be sent to the email you provided for your account. Enter it as if you’re logging in and you’ll be directed to a page where you can create a safe new password.

How can I subscribe to weekly newsletters?

At the bottom of the home page you can find a “enter your email here” line. Enjoy!

Click Menu tab, then ‘Magazine’ and at the bottom of the page you’ll find a link that reads: ’Subscribe.’ Click it and boom.
